Introduction

The dead have crossed over to the world of the living; man has been pushed to the brink of extinction. It is a place of darkness and terror. The gate of hell must be closed to save humankind and return light to the land.


Your Calling

You are a respected head warrior from Longthor: a new village on the outskirts of human settlement. After a recent attack that killed several villagers, you vowed to rid this land of all evil. The village chief informs you of a special sword that can assist you. He tells you to head east into the Forgotten Forest.


The Sword

Battling wolflike creatures, you finally find yourself at a cathedral. Lying there on the entrance was the legendary Longthor Sword. You embraced its beauty. With it in your hands, a surge of energy runs through your body.


The Return

After battling through the woods again, you finally returned to town and discovered your wife missing. In the house, you find a note on the table:


  1. My dear husband,


  3. I’ve been having these terrible nightmares and it’s guiding me somewhere. I don’t know what it means, but I feel I must follow it. I’m heading to the city west of here to speaker with the Diviner.

You begin heading westward toward the City of Cromir to find your wife...
